Now this is some good entertainment at about 2 o’ clock in the morning. When everyone is asleep, I’m taking a little break from night time working and the TV is all jaded and routine; pops up American Idol’s Philadelphia auditions. Now, I believe firmly that American Idol’s prelims are some of the best entertainment possible on TV. Why? Cmon, where else do you get to see people audition to see how well they can make a fool of themselves?

It is amazing to see just how oblivious people usually are, especially when broken vocal chords compare themselves to Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley etc. etc. blahdy blahdy blahdy. And when they come face to face with the truth, they go hating Simon Cowell… Seemingly only because he’s European. Shame really. For I ALSO, firmly believe that Simon is THE only one serious about the competition from the panel of judges. Ah fuck it. I shouldn’t be saying this. If everyone realized that, there’d be no more entertainment viz. people abusing the Jebus out of Mr. Cowell.
Coming to why I say people just love to hate for him being a European - It’s evident from this video I posted as a reference. This chic is, well, just generally retarded. Has a really bad voice that sounds like she smoked up a little too much weed in high school and broke her throat along with everything else (she does look like a fucking stick figure to be honest and I actually had a tough time realizing it was a girl. Yick!) or had an obsession for blowing pet animals while she was a youngin’. Anyway, bad voice, bad manners, bad personality, bad taste in everything in general and really really bad attitude. And when I say bad attitude, I don’t mean BADASS, I mean downright stupid and pathetic. Simon along with the rest of the judges was actually nice to her by saying that she’d be more suited for a band rather than the Idol “competition”. Perfectly polite in my opinion.

Obviously this video along with all other auditions from Idol have been posted several times by different users on different video hosting sites. So there is absolutely no facing away from the humiliation that comes as an after effect of such extravagantly moronic behavior.

Second thing, there really are a coupla really good singers who really please you. So yea. Sonic candy after a huge round of laughs is just great!
